Web Library of Seventeenth-Century Music

The Web Library of Seventeenth-Century Music is pleased to offer a variety of music in modern scholarly and performing editions. Our main catalogue of scores includes both instrumental and vocal music and some of our more recent editions include parts for performers. You'll find instrumental trios, keyboard music, solo cantatas, masses and other large liturgical works, among others. We have music from France, Italy, England, and Austria and the collection continues to grow.

Be sure to visit our Monuments of Seventeenth-Century Music series where we publish large anthologies of music. The first volume, Keyboard Arrangements of Music by Jean-Baptiste Lully, presents nearly 250 pieces from manuscript collections across Europe and the United States. The second volume is a growing collection of Italian instrumental music that spans the entire century.
